Kai Martin, aka “Kai Boy”, is a competitive surfer and skateboarder from Kaimuki, Hawaii.
Kai started competing when he was three years old, entering his first surf contest before he could swim. Since 2013, he has competed at a state and national level for surfing and skateboarding and is nationally ranked for both sports.
In addition to being a dual athlete, Kai is a full-time student, plays the ukulele and piano, and dances hula for Kumu Kaleihomai. He gives back to his community by volunteering as a mini-mentor for Na Kama Kai, a non-profit organization that helps underprivileged youth connect with the ocean.
With surfing Kai’s main passion, you can find him daily in lineups around the island of Oahu with his family.
